* The "Hotel Oliver" started back in 1996 as a free place for my friends to sleep on the floor of my studio apartment in San Francisco, moved to New York for 5 years and now is a futon couch in my living room in London. The Hotel Oliver happily accepts gifts from guests, especially those traveling from the United States and who live in areas where the local supermarkets sell Frank's Red Hot sauce and dry Ranch Dip packets.
